Studio Terms

Terms of use

These terms cover every Stack Trace Studios app. They are short because the apps do not collect anything, have no accounts, and have nothing to sign in to.

Last updated 7 August 2026.

Licence

Apps are distributed through the App Store and are licensed, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement. Buying an app or an in-app unlock gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it on the devices tied to your Apple ID, including through Family Sharing where the app enables it.

Purchases and refunds

All payments are processed by Apple. Where an app has a paid tier it is a one-time non-consumable in-app purchase, not a subscription — there is nothing recurring to cancel. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com; the studio cannot issue one directly. If a purchase does not unlock, use Restore Purchases inside the app first.

Acceptable use

Do not redistribute, resell, or republish an app's bundled content — lessons, question banks, glossaries and case files are original work and are protected by copyright. Do not attempt to circumvent a paywall or to extract the content for another product. Personal study, including quoting a passage with attribution, is fine.

What the apps do not promise

The study apps are independent companions. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any certifying body, and passing a practice quiz is not a prediction that you will pass an exam. The curriculum apps carry no accreditation and grant no academic credit.

Nothing in any app is professional advice. Health and safety features — allergen checking, cycle tracking — are informational aids, not medical devices, and must not be relied on for a medical decision. Risk indices are analytical models built from public data, not forecasts. Each app's page carries its own specific limits; read those too.

Liability

The apps are provided as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stack Trace Studios LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from their use. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and it does not affect statutory consumer rights in your jurisdiction.

Changes

These terms may be updated; the revised version is published here with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
