About A&P Mechanic
Certification prep for the FAA Aviation Mechanic certificate, built on FAA-S-ACS-1, the Airman Certification Standards that 14 CFR 65.23 incorporates by reference. It covers all 495 knowledge elements across General, Airframe and Powerplant, and every question carries the ACS code it was written from.
The whole General knowledge test is free: every lesson and every question. Powerplant passes at 63 percent, the lowest rate of any knowledge test the FAA administers, so the app is built for the retake as much as the first attempt.

Common questions
What is free, and what does the unlock buy?
The calculators, the formula reference and the unit tools are free permanently. They are not a trial and they do not expire. The one-time unlock opens the full question bank, the worked solutions, the timed practice forms and the review tools.
Is it a subscription?
No. A single non-consumable in-app purchase, with nothing to cancel. Whatever you have already earned or completed stays readable regardless of purchase state.
Will this work at the plant, with no signal?
Yes. All content and every calculator are on the device. A connection is only needed to load, buy or restore the unlock, through the App Store on iPhone and iPad or Google Play on Android.
Does the app match my state's exam?
Exam format, grade designations and passing scores are set by the certifying authority in your jurisdiction and vary between them. Each app states the exam and the area weighting it is built around; confirm current requirements with your own certifying authority before you rely on it.
Can I use the calculators for real work?
They are a study and reference aid. Verify any result against your permit, your facility's standard operating procedures, and the currently adopted regulations before you act on it.
I found a wrong answer. What happens?
Email support with the question and what you think is wrong. The developer checks every report and corrects confirmed errors in an update. An automated test suite covers every formula and recomputes each worked solution in code.
