About CRISC

ISACA's 2025 job practice weights Governance at 26%, Risk Assessment at 22%, Risk Response and Reporting at 32%, and Technology and Security at 20%. Those weights supersede the 2021 outline that most study material still teaches.

CRISC tests judgement. Several answers are usually defensible, and the question turns on which comes first, who decides, or what evidence supports the conclusion, so every explanation names the distinction that decides it.

What you get

Complete current outline

Study 70 lessons mapped to all 35 published topic headings across the four CRISC domains, weighted 26/22/32/20 for Governance, Risk Assessment, Risk Response and Reporting, and Technology and Security.

Risk judgment

Several answers are usually defensible, so items turn on which response comes first, who owns the decision, and what evidence supports the conclusion. Each explanation names the distinction that decides the item.

Original practice bank

Work through 175 original multiple-choice questions with worked explanations, 105 flashcards, 70 glossary entries and 16 optional scenario activities. The timed practice is an original study session of 50 questions in 75 minutes, drawn in the published domain proportions.

Re-verification deadline

The catalog was verified against the published CRISC outline on 29 August 2026 and must be re-verified by 31 July 2027. After that deadline, new purchases and current-alignment timed practice pause, and existing purchasers keep the full catalog labeled as archived.

Core study works offline

Lessons, questions, flashcards, glossary and review tools ship inside the app; App Store purchase and restore actions require a connection.

One-time unlock

A single non-consumable App Store purchase adds the paid catalog and the timed practice. The App Store shows the current localized price; there is no subscription and no app account.

Common questions

What do I get before paying?

The free download includes a fixed sampler spanning all four domains: 12 lessons, 12 original questions, 12 flashcards and 4 scenario activities, one in each domain. The one-time unlock opens the full catalog of 70 lessons, 175 questions, 105 flashcards, 70 glossary entries and 16 scenario activities, plus the 50-question timed practice.

Which CRISC outline does this cover, and for how long?

It covers the published four-domain CRISC outline that ISACA labels effective 2025, weighted 26/22/32/20. The catalog was verified against that outline on 29 August 2026 and must be re-verified by 31 July 2027. After that date, new purchases and current-alignment timed practice pause until reviewed replacement content ships; existing purchasers keep the full catalog, labeled as archived, and the free sampler stays available.

Is the timed practice an official CRISC exam simulation?

No. It is an original study session of 50 questions in 75 minutes, drawn in the published domain proportions. The CRISC exam itself is 150 questions with a passing score of 450 on a 200-800 scale; this app does not reproduce official questions, calculate an official score, or predict readiness.

Are the scenario activities an official ISACA exam format?

No. The 16 categorizing, ordering and matching activities are optional drills written for this app. The CRISC exam is multiple choice.

Is it a subscription?

No. One non-consumable App Store purchase unlocks the paid catalog permanently, so there is no renewal and nothing to cancel. The App Store shows the current localized price.

Do I need an account or an internet connection?

There is no app account, sign-up, login or identifier of any kind. The bundled study content works offline; loading, buying and restoring the unlock use Apple's App Store services and require a connection.

I paid and the app still shows the paywall.

Open Settings inside the app and choose Restore Purchases while online, which asks the App Store to re-check the entitlement. If it stays locked, contact support with the app version, iOS version and exact error message; never send an Apple Account password or full payment details.

What data leaves the device?

None. The app has no networking code, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising and no third-party packages. Progress, bookmarks and notes are stored on the device and are never transmitted, and the App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected.
