About DishCheck
DishCheck helps you review restaurant menu text against each diner's saved restrictions. Capture a menu page or choose a clear menu photo, then review possible conflicts and the evidence that triggered each flag before you order.
It also creates a restaurant communication card from the restrictions you configured. The card and every scan are prompts for a conversation with staff and the kitchen. Neither is a food-safety guarantee.

Common questions
What is included for free?
One diner, three camera-snapshot or selected-photo scans, scan history and the restaurant communication card. The one-time Full Unlock adds unlimited scans, more diners, live keyword preview and PDF import. The app shows the current localized App Store price before purchase.
Can DishCheck tell me that a dish is safe?
No. OCR, translation, matching and recipe inference can miss or misread ingredients, and the app cannot verify substitutions, preparation or cross-contact. Treat every result as a prompt for questions and confirm directly with restaurant staff and the kitchen.
Does it require an account or internet connection?
There is no DishCheck account or developer-operated analysis server. Built-in review and eligible Apple Intelligence analysis run on device. Apple services and a file provider you choose may use the network for purchases, restores, translation resources or retrieval of a selected photo or PDF.
I bought Full Unlock but paid features are locked.
Open Settings in DishCheck and tap Restore Purchases. DishCheck verifies the current entitlement with the App Store; Stack Trace Studios cannot see your Apple Account password or manually grant an App Store entitlement. If restore reports an error, include that exact message when you contact support.
How do I move my DishCheck data to a new device?
DishCheck has no account-based sync. Depending on your Apple backup settings, its local data may transfer when you restore an encrypted device or iCloud backup, but DishCheck cannot verify or guarantee that transfer. Before erasing the old device, open DishCheck on the new device and verify that the diners and history you need are present. Restore Purchases separately to re-check Full Unlock.
